On an emotional level, self care can help relieve feelings of stress and promote emotional wellness. Balanced emotional well-being is an important element of mental health. Plus, taking the time to show yourself some love helps reinforce feelings of self-esteem.
A self care routine can also have physical health benefits. Because your physical health is largely affected by your emotional health, self care can even provide support against long-term illness and promote lasting health.
What Are Some Self Care Ideas?
Self-care comes in all shapes and sizes; ultimately, your best self-care routine boils down to whatever helps you relax.
